3. Is there a short circuit safety feature in the battery?
Yes there is, we use Boston Power batteries which have electrical and chemical safety features built inside each of the batteries.
4. Will it do any harm to the battery if I keep it plugged into the computer until both batteries are empty?
No, when both the computer and the external batteries are fully charged you will notice that the battery icon will stay at 100% for a long time. This is because the external battery is being used first, then the computer will switch to the internal battery and when the battery icon starts to decline it time to recharge.

6. Why do I have to purchase another MagSafe adapter? Why can't I use mine?

NO, Li-ion batteries can't discharge to zero~if this were to happen then they wouldn't be able to be recharged. The circuit board inside our batteries controls the over and under charge. So, the
circuit board goes on standby.

No, the MacBook Pro battery uses different voltage and current then the MacBook Air.
